The repair quality of covered vehicles is extremely important to Lexus. All dealership technicians performing this recall are required to successfully complete the most current version of the E-Learning Course “Safety Recall and Service Campaign Essentials” to ensure that all vehicles have the repair performed correctly.

All dealership technicians performing this recall are required to successfully complete the most current version of the E-Learning Course “Safety Recall and Service Campaign Essentials” to ensure that all vehicles have the repair performed correctly. I. OPERATION FLOW CHART The flow chart is for reference only. DO NOT use it in place of the full technical instructions. Follow ALL steps as outlined in the full technical instructions to confirm the campaign is completed correctly. Verify Vehicle Eligibility 1. Confirm vehicle VIN matches the RO. 2. Check for Campaign eligibility using TIS. Not Covered No further action required. Covered Replace the tire pressure information label. Campaign completed. Return the Vehicle to the customer. II. IDENTIFICATION OF AFFECTED VEHICLES 1. CHECK VEHICLE FOR CAMPAIGN ELIGIBILITY a) Compare the vehicles VIN to the VIN listed on the Repair Order to ensure they match. b) Check the TIS Vehicle Inquiry System to confirm the VIN is involved in this Campaign, and that it has not already been completed. HINT: TMNA warranty will not reimburse dealers for repairs completed on vehicles that are not affected or were previously completed, even by another dealer. III. PREPARATION A. BACKGROUND 4 VI. TIRE PRESSURE INFORMATION LABEL REPLACEMENT 1. REMOVE TIRE PRESSURE INFORMATION LABEL a) Using your fingers, remove the existing label from the vehicle. b) After removal, degrease and clean the vehicle surface thoroughly. 2. APPLY THE NEW TIRE PRESSURE INFORMATION LABEL a) Temporarily place the NEW tire pressure information label as shown in the illustration and hold the label in position by hand so it doesn’t move. NOTICE: DO NOT remove the release paper in this step. Correct Label Position: • Leave about 10 mm between the edge of the NEW label and the bottom edge of the existing certification label. • Make sure that no part of the NEW label is hanging over the edges of the pillar (the entirety NEW label must be on the flat area). • The tire icon of the NEW label is facing toward the bottom of the vehicle. 5 b) Remove the release paper from the upper side of the NEW label as shown in the illustration, and apply the label. NOTICE: Be careful not to touch the sticky surface of the label. c) Remove the release paper from the lower side of the label and apply the label. d) Firmly press the label with your hand. NOTICE: Especially press firmly on the label boundaries in order to prevent the label edge from peeling off. ◄ VERIFY REPAIR QUALITY ► If you have any questions regarding this Safety (Noncompliance) Recall, please contact your regional representative. VII. APPENDIX A. PARTS DISPOSAL In accordance with Federal Regulations, please make sure all recalled parts (original parts) removed from the vehicle are disposed of in a manner in which they will not be reused, unless requested for parts recovery return. 6 7 B.
