Introduction
Some 2005 – 2006 model year Corolla and Matrix vehicles may exhibit engine vibration and drone noise while accelerating from a stop up to 30 mph. The right hand (RH) engine mount has been improved to correct this condition.
- 2005 – 2006 model year Corolla and Matrix vehicles equipped with the 1ZZ-FE engine and produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown below.

Powertrain Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 60 months or 60,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle’s in-service date.

- Test drive the vehicle and confirm that the engine vibration and drone noise are diminished.
