Introduction
Some customers may experience a rattle or knock noise from the rear suspension. This concern is most common for customers who frequently drive on rough roads. Follow the repair procedure in this bulletin to address customer concerns.

APPLICABLE WARRANTY
- This repair is covered under the Lexus Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle’s in-service date.
- Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer’s specific complaint.

Repair Procedure
- Conduct a road test to verify the noise.
NOTE
The rear seat may need to be removed to verify and isolate the noise.
- Replace the rear strut supports.

- Inspect alignment and adjust as necessary.
- Road test the vehicle to confirm the rattle/knock noise is no longer present.
